The time has come for you to inform us of your housing plans once your current License Agreement expires. You have three options to choose from so, please select the one that most applies to your future plans.
If you plan to continue living in the CGU Apartments for the summer semester and the 2015 -2016 academic year (fall and spring semester) then you are considered to be a CONTINUING student. As a CONTINUING student you will need to complete and submit the following documents to the Housing Services office no later than May 4, 2015.
If you plan to move out of the CGU apartments at the end of the semester but plan to return to live in the Apartments beginning in the 2015 fall semester then you are considered to be a RETURNING student. As a RETURNING student you will need to complete and submit the following documents to the Housing Services office no later than May 4, 2015.
We anticipate having more students applying to live in the Apartments than we have space to acomodate. So, in order to guarantee yourself a space for the upcoming academic year, all you need to do is leave your security deposit on file with the Housing Services office. We will be able to guarantee you the same floor plan that you just vacated but, we will not be able to guarantee that you will be in the same unit/ apartment that you just vacated. When completing your Application please remember to provide us with your preferred floor plans in the "Preferences" section. If you change your mind and decide that you will not be returning to live at the Apartments for the upcoming academic year; then complete theRefund Request/ Cancellation form. Bear in mind that your refund will be governed by the cacellation terms outlined in the most reent License Agreement that you have signed.
If you plan to move out of the CGU Apartments at the end of your License Agreement and will NOT be returning to live oncampus then you are considered a MOVE-OUT student. As a MOVE-OUT student you will need to complete and submit the following documents to the Housing Services office no later than May 4, 2015.
You will be expected to remove all of your belongings from the unit and return your keys (front door, mailbox and bedroom, if applicable) to the Housing Services office no later than 5:00pm on Monday, May 18, 2015. If you fail to remove all of your belongings and/ or return your keys by this date and time, you will be considerd to have made an Improper Checkout and a one-hundred dollar ($100.00) fee will be charged against your security deposit.
If you need to stay in your apartment for a short period of time after May 18, 2015 then please make the request via the Request for Exception Form and submit it with the documents above no later than May 4, 2015. If your request is approved, then additional charges will apply.
