That the Drucker School is small and close knit was attractive to me.

It felt as if one could get to know everyone, including the Professors and Administrators, on a first name personal basis, which has been the case

Why did you choose the Drucker School?
The combination of engaging Professors and the personal touch of a small school were the factors that led to my choice of the Drucker School over others. After my experience with a large State school as an undergraduate, I really wanted the personal touch that is a key component of a small Liberal Arts College style MBA Program. The fact that the Drucker School is small and close knit was attractive to me. It felt as if one could get to know everyone, including the Professors and Administrators, on a first name personal basis, which has been the case.

I was also really swayed after sitting in on a class on my first visit. The Professors here at the Drucker School were dynamic, magnetic, and electric in comparison with my visits to other MBA programs across the country. I knew I would enjoy learning here.

How has the program benefited you so far?
My breadth of knowledge has widened greatly. While I have had years of Operations Management experience professionally, my exposure to other Management topics has been less intensive. I've enjoyed the experience of delving deeply into other fields of Management.

Describe your experience in the classroom and the caliber of the professors.
The classroom experience here at Drucker is fantastic, and was one of the main reasons I chose Drucker over other programs. I sat in on sample classes at other Universities and experienced Professors that reminded me of the character Ben Stein played in Ferris Bueller's Day Off and witnessed students so disengaged that they were on their laptops doing other things. Here, the classes were interactive and the students were glued to the professors.

The experience on my visit has held true into my second semester. I have enjoyed the style of instruction and have learned a great deal from my Professors and my class mates. Our interactions with each other, as a whole group, have taught me valuable lessons.

What are your career goals?
My only career goal is to be in an environment that features constant mental challenge. I enjoy being in a fast paced environment and problem solving.

How will your Drucker degree help you further your career?
The Drucker Degree will further my career greatly. The values emphasized here, that people matter as much as profit, will be embedded in my Managerial style forever.

What are your favorite spots around Claremont?
There are a lot of great restaurants in Claremont Village that cater to every taste and dietary need. I love the fact that Claremont has a real record store with vinyl records. As a baseball fan, it's nice to have the big league team 60 minutes away and one of the minor league squads 20 minutes to the east.

What has been your most memorable experience at the Drucker School?
My most memorable experience to date at the Drucker School has just been meeting great people. More than class mates, instructors, and administrators: friends.
