Patrick Horn's area of research is epistemology, cultural theory, and philosophy of religion. He teaches courses on the interpretation of religion and epistemological issues in cultural analysis. He is the author of Gadamer and Wittgenstein on the Unity of Language, published by Ashgate in Spring 2005. In this work, Horn is critical of the notion that the unity of language is a meta-physical unity, arguing instead that it is a unity between what people say and how they live.
