SUMMER WEEK-LONG DISSERTATION WRITING BOOT CAMP

The Dissertation Writing Boot Camp offers students who are ABD (have been advanced to candidacy) a focused space for writing. During the Boot Camp, students have dedicated time for writing, as well as time for sharing reflections on their writing process. Through this process, the Boot Camp helps students develop effective strategies that enable them to balance their dissertation writing process with their work and other life commitments.

SUMMER LANGUAGE COURSES

The CGU Writing Center offers intensive French, German, Spanish, and Latin workshops this summer to prepare students to pass the graduate language reading exams. The workshops are not for credit, but the reading exam is given on the last day of the workshop. CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS.


GRADUATE WRITING COURSE

The GWC leads students in developing a research paper, case study, or project. The course reviews foundational writing structures and focuses on developing ideas, outlines, and arguments; reading and note-taking strategies to analyze and synthesize information; managing and integrating sources; creating annotated bibliographies; documentation styles; drafting and revising; and presentation skills.
