Kristen Brownell is a Ph.D. student in the English Department with an emphasis in Early Modern Studies and regional narrative. She earned her M.F.A. in Creative Nonfiction from the University of California, Riverside and her B.A. in English from the University of California, Irvine. Kristen has taught Fiction, Creative Nonfiction, and Introduction to Creative Writing as well as literature survey courses. She is currently in the process of publishing her memoir, The Vegas Diaries, which was her thesis project at UCR.
