The Division of Politics and Economics comprises two departments, the Department of Economics and the Department of Politics & Policy and offers Masters of Arts (M.A.) degrees, Doctoral (Ph.D.) degrees, and Accelerated B.A./M.A (4+1) degrees.
Our M.A. degree programs are offered as steps either toward immediate career goals in the private or public sectors, or toward a Ph.D. degree. Our Ph.D. degree programs prepare students for careers in academia, government and the private sector.
Our 4+1 program offers a chance to earn graduate credit while completing the final year of a Bachelor's degree.
We also offer joint programs with other Schools and Divisions. The joint programs provide students with an unique opportunity to span different disciplines.
