The Student Council of Arts & Humanities is dedicated to enhancing the experiences of graduate students attending Claremont Graduate University. The council’s mission is to be an advocate for the interests of Arts and Humanities students to the university’s faculty, staff, and administration, and to provide a forum for the discussion of student ideas, concerns, and achievements.
The SCAH has five officers: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Historian. It also has at least one Senator who is elected by the students of each department. For more detailed information please read the constitution or email us at SCAH@cgu.edu.

Students within the School of Arts & Humanities elected the first officers in the Spring of 2014, and Senators from each department will be elected in the Fall of 2014. After they are elected, the council members will vote to ratify the constitution which has already been approved by Dean Schneider and the Chairs of each department.
