Career Fair Dates: November 17, 2009 (9:00AM - 5:00PM) November 18, 2009 (9:00AM - 5:00PM) Location: www.alumwire.com In lieu of our fall on-campus career fair, we are piloting an online career fair that will allow you to "attend" from wherever you are. We are pleased to announce our partnership with Alumwire, Inc. and invite you to participate in a virtual career fair coming November 17 & 18. Through the virtual fair, you can connect with recruiters from a range of employers in real time, online via live video and instant messaging. The fair provides a great opportunity to search jobs, interact with employers, and gain positive exposure without leaving your living room. How do I sign up? Go to: http://www.alumwire.com When you get to the Alumwire site click on the orange "Signup" button and select Claremont Graduate University to participate in the CGU fair. You will then receive a confirmation e-mail from Alumwire which will lead you to a page where you can submit a resume, look over job openings, update your profile, create a ""Video Handshake" and review the Virtual Career Fair employer list and the schedule. Alumwire also provides job postings and a social networking capability. It a great idea to logon well before the virtual career fair so that you can set up your profile and get familiar with the site. |
