Professor Richard Smith’s Paper Ranks Top Ten on Social Science Research Network (SSRN) Download List
In a recent notification by the Social Science Research Network (SSRN), Professor Richard Smith was advised that his paper entitled: “Opportunity Cost of Capital for Venture Capital Investors and Entrepreneurs” made the Top Ten Download list for “EE: Microeconomic Theory (Topic) “ and “MT: Other (Topic).” As of February 20, 2007 his paper had been downloaded 478 times.
Professor Smith, is Director of the Drucker School Financial Engineering Management Program and is Director of the Venture Finance Institute which is dedicated to developing the theory and practice of venture finance. Recognized internationally by academicians and practitioners for leadership in research on financing of new business ventures the Venture Finance Institute also plays a significant role as intermediary between entrepreneurs and prospective investors in new business ventures.
