Communities are built by the actions of interested and committed individuals. The GSC works with student clubs and School Associations in a number of ways:
We provide initial start-up funds and semester funding for all student organizations that are registered with the GSC and the Dean’s Office to support the activities they conduct for their own members.
We help with additional funding for social, academic, and community outreach initiatives led by student organizations as well as by individual students, as long as the event or activity is open to the entire CGU community.
We work in partnership with individuals and groups to share ideas and resources in organizing and presenting events and activities for the benefit of the CGU community.
We believe that these collaborations not only help with sharing resources of funding, manpower and publicity, but also generate richer ideas and more innovation in event planning. We know that this is a effective way of building a rich student life for us all at CGU.
If you belong to a student organization and would like to explore working in partnership with the GSC, please contact us. We look forward to collaborating with you.

Special Event Funding Form
Special Club Funding is used when a Club needs more than the usual allocation of $50 per semester in order to run an event. This funding is applied for and approved on a case by case basis, following conditions laid out in the CGU Student Club Guidelines. Download Here
Club & Event Reimbursement Form
Semester Club Funding and Special Club Funding that have been previously approved by the GSC are given out through reimbursement when the club submits receipts and the event's budget to the GSC using the Club & Event Reimbursement Form. This form should be submitted to the GSC Treasurer. Full details can be found in the CGU Student Club Guidelines. Download Here
Advance Disbursement of Funds
Advance disbursement of funds may only be requested for funds that have already been granted for specific events (both Semester and Special Club Funding). That is, this is a request only to change the manner of disbursement of funds that have been granted. Please see CGU Student Club Guidelines for complete details on how to make this request.
