At the core of a great university is an extraordinary faculty. As a graduate-only institution, CGU boasts of a faculty focused on the creation of knowledge and the preparation of leaders. Research and teaching blend a potent relationship between faculty and students in the classroom, in the research field, beyond graduation and into every-day life.
Today's faculty rely on more than text books to challenge and help shape CGU students. Recruiting and retaining top scholars means equipping them with modern tools. Faculty support is a major initiative of the CGU Annual Fund.
Gifts to the CGU Annual Fund allow us to modernize our music suites, build smart classrooms, expand access to scholarly journals and maintain an intimate-scale education for our students. Commitments to the Annual Fund help attract and retain quality professors that help shape our students in and outside the classroom.
Stewart Donaldson, PhD School of Behavioral & Organizational Sciences Dean
The School of Behavioral and Organizational Sciences at CGU has positioned itself as a leader in the rapidly changing and growing field of evaluation and is continuing to add new programs to strengthen that position. SBOS Dean Stewart Donaldson and Professor Michael Scriven provide a vision for this undertaking in their book Evaluating Social Programs and Problems: Visions for the New Millennium.
The evaluation-enriched group, led by SBOS at CGU, will educate the next generation in the "evaluative social sciences" Scriven believes. Under the leadership of Dean Donaldson, CGU is now recognized as offering one of the largest, most innovative, training programs in evaluation in the world.
