Alan Brauer is Executive Vice President and CIO of Land America Lender Services Tax and Flood (LATF). One of his roles at LATF is to develop and implement a longer term strategic technology plan. The technology group totals about eighty (80) staff members working in four technology teams: Application Programming, Help Desk, Technical Support and Systems and Operations.

From February to July 2000, Alan worked as Senior Consultant to Universal Seagram. From 1996 through 1999, Alan was the CIO & Vice President, Information Systems Technology at Aramark Uniform Services. From 1974-1996, Alan held a variety of technical positions at Times Mirror companies, including Vice President and General Manager, Times Mirror Shared Services and Vice President Information Systems, Times Mirror Cable Television.

Alan has held CIO and executive level technology positions in a variety of different businesses for 25 years. His technical experience at these organizations includes IBM mainframe, web based technologies, internet/extranet development, shared service operations, client-server technologies, high-speed networks and customer service support functions. Alan holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a BS degree in Accounting / Economics from Bowling Green State University.
