Corporate Certificate Programs

The School of Information Systems and Technology offers corporate clients customized certificate programs, encompassing 16 units of course work made up of existing courses. These are contingent upon minimum enrollment numbers.  Certificates can be designed to include those courses specific to the company or company's employees duties and are developed in cooperation with the client.

A sample of certificate options developed for previous clients:

Technical Certificate in Information Systems

Management Certificate in Information Systems

A student who takes either or both of the certificate programs also will be eligible to earn a Masters of Science in Information Systems and Technology (MSIST) or a Doctorate (PhD) in the Management of Information Systems and Technology in that all coursework taken will be applied to the requirements for those programs.

Admission Requirements

A student who applies for admission to a certificate program must be a working professional, have a Bachelors degree from an accredited institution, and provide a resume/curriculum vitae and at least two letters of reference. International students must also provide TOEFL scores. Students will receive grades for each course using the same criteria as for students in the MSIS and PhD programs. Students who want to join the Masters or PhD degree program after taking at least three courses toward a certificate or after completing a certificate will be required to present standardized test scores (GRE or GMAT) and a personal statement.
