YOUR CAREER Choosing the Right Path for Your Future
The choice of a graduate program is one of the most important decisions you may ever make. The real world focus of the curriculum makes MAWS a good choice for mid-career women interested in developing additional skills and substantive expertise, as well as for women who have just completed their undergraduate degrees.
Applicants should have a strong record of undergraduate performance and/or real world experience that shows they have the potential to succeed in this degree program. Individuals with a wide range of academic backgrounds-the humanities, social sciences, the arts and professional schools-are encouraged to apply. A commitment to improving the social, economic, and political status of women is a more important admission criterion than a background in a particular academic discipline.
