Accreditation
Claremont Graduate University is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Initial accreditation was granted in 1949, and accreditation status was reaffirmed for ten years in June 2002. The WASC Commission met in June 2012 and acted to continue the accreditation of CGU through the reaccreditation process completing in spring 2014.
