Professional Activities Craig Pearcehas won several awards for his research, including the 2004 Ascendant Scholar Award from the Western Academy of Management and an award from the Center for Creative Leadership for his research on shared leadership. His research has appeared in Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Group Dynamics: Theory, Research, and Practice, and Organizational Dynamics, as well as other outlets. His new book entitled "Shared Leadership: Reframing the Hows and Whys of Leadership", co-edited with Jay A. Conger, is published by Sage. His research has also been funded by such agencies as the U.S. Department of Education. He serves on the editorial boards of Leadership Quarterly, Human Resource Management Review and Leadership Review. Dr. Pearce serves on the board of directors of Small Potatoes, Inc., an agricultural bio-tech company and serves as a management consultant. Dr. Pearce's clients have included ACNielsen, American Express, GEICO Insurance, Land Rover, Mack Trucks, Manor Bakeries, Pickering Foods, Rayovac, The Rouse Company, Rover Cars, and Serono. |
