at Claremont Graduate University.

Speakers on Friday, February 18 will include Ellen Du Bois (History/UCLA) and Libby Lumpkin (Art History/Harvard) followed by a presentation by the performance artist, Emily Levine.

Speakers on Saturday, February 19 will include Sandra Harding (UCLA/History of Science) and Elaine Showalter (Princeton University/English).

  • 10:45 - 12:00 p.m.: Ellen DuBois (History/UCLA);
    “Women Change History: Three Decades of Feminism in the Historical Profession.”
    Lecture and Discussion.
  • 1:30 - 3:00 p.m.: Libby Lumpkin (Art History/Harvard University);
    “Transgressing Feminism: Art By Women Since 1990.”
    Lecture and Discussion.
  • 3:00 - 3:30 p.m.: Break
  • 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.: Emily Levine; performance artist
  • 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.: Reception in Art Department.
    Exhibit of CGU women faculty and student work.
