1098-T Form and Educational Tax Credits
In accordance with IRS guidelines, Claremont Graduate University has provided qualified educational charges to the IRS. TCRS (Tax Credit Report Service), the third-party vendor who provides tax credit reporting for Claremont Graduate University, has submitted this information electronically to the IRS.
Please note, the reported charges are based on the tax year that the student was charged for these fees, not necessarily when the semester occurs or when payment was made. For example, if you registered and were billed for Spring 2009 at the end of 2008, these charges will appear on your 2008 1098-T form. If you were not billed until 2009, then those charges will not appear on this form.
