Professional Activities

Professor Binay was formerly on the faculties of Case Western Reserve University and Koc University where he taught courses in corporate finance, investments, financial institutions, and derivatives. He helped develop the finance department at Koc University.  He was actively involved in the recruiting and curriculum development efforts, organized seminars and conferences, supervised graduate theses, and served in the Turkish Education Foundation scholarship selection committee.  Professor Binay is a member of the American Finance Association, Western Finance Association, and Financial Management Association.  He presents his research at national and international conferences and is a member of the program committee and organizes sessions in his research area.
