The Drucker School’s Board of Visitors consists of business leaders from industry and the not-for-profit sector.  Visitors provide guidance, insight, expertise and contacts to the Drucker School’s Dean and faculty, and contribute by providing employment opportunities and internships for graduates.  They also assist in generating funds for student fellowships, faculty endowments, facilities, infrastructure and the operation of academic programs.

 

It is Claremont Graduate University’s aspiration that Board of Visitors members will be personally and professionally enriched through their continuing association with the university.  Visitors convene twice annually for formal meetings and serve a minimum of three consecutive years.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • An established leader with a demonstrated record of accomplishment in a given
    industry or profession
  • An ability to make an annual contribution to the Drucker School
  • Enthusiasm for the Drucker School and a strong interest in seeing it continue to improve
  • Willingness to engage in conversations and activities with friends and alumni of
    the Drucker School
  • Willingness to identify and/or solicit prospective donors on behalf of the Drucker School 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Remain current with the Drucker School’s priorities and programs
  • Participate in Claremont Graduate University and Drucker School related events
  • Assist in providing referrals for student internships and jobs for graduating students
  • Assist in cultivation and stewardship programs for potential donors and partners
  • Attend Board meetings regularly
