Private Loans are credit-based consumer loans that can be used for education-related purposes and require no collateral. Many students qualify on their own signature, but some lenders will often offer better interest rates with a co-borrower. If you are an International student, you are required to apply with an American citizen or green card holder co borrower to be considered for a private student loan.
Before applying, please email the Office of Student Financing at finaid@cgu.edu to determine your maximum loan amount for the academic year.
