I. Core Course Requirements
(12 units)
 
Complete one of the following base sequences (either politics or economics):

PP481 Quantitative Research Methods
PP482 Advanced Quantitative Research Methods
   

Economics
 

ECON 308 Math for Economists I
ECON 382 Econometrics I
ECON 383 Econometrics II
   
II. Tools
(4 units)
ECON 384 Econometrics III
     
III. Course Modules
5 COURSES (20 units)

You will be required to complete a five (5) course module (20 units) in an area of interest to be decided with the Methods Faculty Advisor.  If you click on the name of the advisor, then you will be sent directly to his or her page which contains the appropriate contact information.

Students with a special interest in mathematical applications in social science can design their own modules.
