Single Subject Preliminary Credential ProgramSingle subject teaching credentials can be completed simultaneously with your MA in Education in 36 units. It is recommended, but not required, that you have completed a BA in your chosen single subject area. Passing the CSET exam is required for all candidates, but is especially critical early in the application process for a candidate applying to teach in a field outside of their degree emphasis. We offer the following Single Subject credentials: SCIENCE (Biology, Physics, Geo-Science, Chemistry)
