This class of graduate students and advanced undergraduate students will provide readings and discussion considering the Mormon Church, which is generally considered to be patriarchal and authoritarian, from a female view, using materials written by women, primarily about women, reading critically and taking seriously their literary works, and considering their interests and reactions to various theological and social aspects of the church.
