Advanced Theology Seminar: Christian Systematic Theology
Theologians and philosophers spend endless time talking about what Systematic Theology is and whether one can still do it today. In this advanced seminar we do theology first and raise the How, Why, and What questions afterwards. The class consists of a close reading of six important recent works in Christian systematic theology, covering the doctrines of God, soteriology, christology, pneumatology, ecclesiology, and eschatology, respectively. The course is not just descriptive and historical; students are expected to actually engage in doing constructive theology.
