We study some basic structures which appear throughout mathematics including Groups, Rings, and Fields. Topics in group theory will include isomorphism theorems, orbits and stabilizers, and coset partitions. Topics in ring theory will include ideals, quotient rings, and prime and maximal ideals. Ring and field extensions will also be introduced.
