Vanessa Hemovich
Vanessa Hemovich is currently a Ph.D. student in Social Psychology at Claremont Graduate University. Vanessa received her Master’s degree in Social Psychology and Evaluation at CGU and her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Washington in Seattle. In addition to coursework and her online consulting position at CGU’s Writing Center, she is currently working as a research assistant for Dr. William Crano. Vanessa was recently awarded an Oskamp Research Fellowship to continue her research on adolescent drug use and anti-drug media campaigns. Presently, she is in her second term serving on the Society for Personality and Social Psychology’s (SPSP) Graduate Student Council. In whatever fleeting moments of free time she might have, Vanessa rides and shows horses competitively on the regional dressage circuit in Southern California.
