Tara Prescott

Tara Prescott is currently a doctoral candidate in the English department, working on her

dissertation on the poetry of Mina Loy.

 

Tara received her B.A. in English Literature with an emphasis in Creative Writing from

UCLA. As an undergraduate, she also studied Modern Irish literature for a year at the

National University of Ireland, Galway.  Tara earned her M.A. degree from The Writing

Seminars at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.

 

She has taught composition and literature courses at UCLA, the University of Redlands,

the Johnston Center for Integrative Studies, the University of La Verne, Baker College Online,

Las Positas College, and Ohlone College. Tara has also tutored for Harvey Mudd College

and Claremont McKenna College. She has been tutoring at the CGU Writing Center since

Summer 2004, acts as the Writing Center coordinator, and currently facilitates the Writing

Center's Dissertation Workshop.
