Tara Prescott

Tara Prescott is currently a Ph.D. student in the English department, specializing in 20th

Century American literature.

Tara received her B.A. in English Literature with an emphasis in Creative Writing from

UCLA. As an undergraduate, she also studied Modern Irish literature for a year at the

National University of Ireland, Galway.  Tara earned her M.A. degree from The Writing

Seminars at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.

She has taught composition and literature courses at UCLA, the University of Redlands, the University of La Verne, Baker College Online, Las Positas College, and Ohlone College.

Tara has also tutored for Harvey Mudd College and Claremont McKenna College.

She has been working at the CGU Writing Center since Summer 2004.
