The Federal Grad PLUS Loan is a credit based loan that allows students the opportunity to borrow up to their cost of attendance, minus any financial aid received. The loan has an origination fee of 4.272%, which is assessed by the lender and is deducted from the original loan amount prior to the funds being released to the student. The current interest rate for a Federal Grad PLUS loan is 6.84% fixed rate.
If you are interested in applying for a Federal Grad PLUS loan for Fall 2016, you may apply on or afer April 1, 2016.

If your Federal Grad PLUS loan is denied and you apply with an endorser, please notify our office.
You must be enrolled in at least 4 degree-seeking units or doctoral studies/continuous registration in order to apply for Federal loans; non-unit or summer language courses are not eligible.
The Federal Grad PLUS credit check expires every 180 days so you may be required to complete a new credit check when increasing a Grad PLUS application.
