Joint Doctoral Applicants

The admission process for our joint doctoral applicants can differ from program to program. Please read carefully:

HIGHER EDUCATION with SAN DIEGO STATE UNIVERSITY
  • Applicants will fill out a joint online only application.
  • Applicants must also submit an Application for Admission to the California State University. This part of the application process should be completed electronically by visiting: http://www.csumentor.edu/AdmissionApp/.
  • Please do not mail paper SDSU applications to CGU.

MANAGEMENT/JD with SOUTHWESTERN LAW SCHOOL
  • Application process is different for first-time applicants vs. students who have already been accepted to either Drucker or Southwestern and would like to pursue this joint program. Please follow the link for their admission process.

MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES with CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY, LONG BEACH
  • PhD applicants to the Engineering and Industrial Applied Mathematics degree conducted jointly with California State University, Long Beach (CSULB ) will submit a CGU application and supporting documents to the CGU Admission Office.
  • Applicants must also complete the CSULB on-line application (without supporting documents) available at: http://www.csumentor.edu/admissionapp/.
  • Please do not mail paper CSULB applications to CGU.

MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES with KECK GRADUATE INSTITUTE OF APPLIED SCIENCES
  • CGU's School of Mathematical Sciences cooperates with Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences to offer a joint PhD program in Computational and Systems Biology. All applications for the Computational & Systems Biology joint degree program should be submitted to Keck Graduate Institute.

  • PhD applicants to the Computational Science degree conducted jointly with San Diego State University (SDSU) will send a CGU application, an SDSU application, the SDSU application fee, and supporting documents directly to SDSU.
