Darren Filson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics, School of Politics and Economics. Areas of specialization include econometrics, financial economics, game theory, and industrial organization. Most of his research is at the intersections of industrial organization, financial economics, and strategy. Recent research focuses on innovation, consumer welfare, and financial performance in the research-based pharmaceutical industry and contracts and resource allocation in the entertainment industry.
