Travel and Material Awards Timeline

There are two application periods for CGU Travel Awards.

FALL 2013 TRAVEL AWARDS

  • QUALIFYING PERIOD - for events between March 16- October 14, 2013
  • INFO and WRITING SESSIONS- TBA
  • APPLICATION DEADLINE - Friday, November 1, 2013 at 11:59pm
SPRING 2014 TRAVEL AWARDS
  • QUALIFYING PERIOD - for events between October 15, 2013- March 15, 2013
  • INFO and WRITING SESSIONS- TBA
  • APPLICATION DEADLINE- Friday, March 28, 2014 at 11:59pm

Please note that Travel Awards are given retroactively, so do check the qualifying period to make sure your event took place in the appropriate period to your application. The GSC will send out emails to announce the Travel Awards at least one month before the application deadline. For questions, do not hesitate to contact the GSC.

 

Student Reviewers Needed

Each essay is read independently by three CGU students. Reviewers will not have access to or review essays from their department, and if applying for a travel and/or material award, essays in their same award category. To volunteer as a reviewer or to receive more information, email the GSC by March 25, 2013.
