Registration

 

All continuing Financial Engineering students will register online.
 
 Online Registration Deadline

 

Summer 2009

  • Registration is April 20 - May 18, 2009.

 

Fall 2009

  • Registration  is April 20 - August 7.
  • Registrations posted/processed after August 7 (for continuing students) will incur a $160 late registration fee.
  • Students will maintain access in the portal to make changes (add/drop) to registration until September 14, after which all changes must be processed by your academic department. Please submit a Change in Registration form;  click here to access this form in the Paper-Based Registration section.
  • Students must maintain continuous registration each semester.  If you will not be taking coursework, but have not completed your degree requirements, you must register for Doctoral Studies (doctoral students) or Continuous Registration (masters students).
  • Students who are not registered by the end of the Add/Drop period will be withdrawn from CGU. Please refer to Academic Calendars for specific term dates.

     

Spring 2010

  • Registration  is November 18 - December 18.

  • Students must maintain continuous registration each semester.  If you will not be taking coursework, but have not completed your degree requirements, you must register for Doctoral Studies (doctoral students) or Continuous Registration (masters students).

 Enrollment  Restrictions
  • Financial Engineering students will be permitted to register for any class on the “FE” course schedule. Classes outside of this list must be approved by the FE Administrative Director.
  • Priority enrollment for “management” courses will be restricted to Financial Engineering students for the first two weeks of open enrollment then the courses will be open for all CGU students for enrollment.
     
  • Space in the undergraduate classes is limited, so the sooner you register for your math classes (both graduate and undergraduate) the better chance you will have to get the classes you want.
 
 Auditing Courses
  • You may audit a course if allowed. To audit math courses at the undergraduate colleges you will need to contact (email or phone) the instructor in advance for permission.
     
  • Management courses cannot be audited without approval.

 Pending Enrollment
  • If your academic advisor feels it is necessary to make adjustments to your schedule, they will contact you and require you to make the necessary changes.
 Prerequisites
  • During the first two weeks of enrollment, all management courses will have prerequisites requiring students to be enrolled in the Financial Engineering Program. 
  • To view prerequisites for all courses please visit the course schedule in the student portal, http://my.cgu.edu.  If you wish to register for one of these classes and you do not meet the prerequisites please contact the Financial Engineering Management Office.
Withdrawal from Courses
  • If you need to withdraw from all of your courses at CGU, you must submit a completed Change of Registration Form to your department. Do not drop your courses online.
