Oxford Study Abroad Reception

 

You are cordially invited to attend an Oxford Study Abroad reception with special guest Dr. Ken Addison on Thursday, Oct. 23 from 4-7 p.m. in the Burkle lobby. The reception will also be an opportunity to learn more about the summer course called Global Strategy & Trade offered in Oxford, England. Students who attended the Oxford program will reunite with old friends and share Oxford stories.

 

ABOUT DR. KEN ADDISON:

Dr. Addison is the Academic Director for Summer Programs at St. Peter’s College, a good friend of the School, and has been with the Oxford program from its inception. His official title is Supernumerary Fellow and Lecturer in physical geography. Addison received his MA and Doctorate of Philosophy from Oxford. He is primarily a Quaternary scientist with a wide range of interests in glaciological, geomorphological, and climate changes of the past 125,000 years and their implications for human society and global environmental security. He has also been a principal figure in the new field of geoconservation, chairing UKRIGS.
