The Claremont Finance Conference
The Claremont Finance Conference is a collaborative event that is coordinated by representatives of the five undergraduate Claremont Colleges. The purpose of the conference is to provide a forum for students, alumni, and professors interested in finance to network and discuss relevant issues.
The conference will begin with a lunch at the Claremont McKenna College Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum that will feature a keynote address from Harry T. McMahon, Executive Vice Chairman of Global Corporate and Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Mr. McMahon is also a Claremont McKenna alumnus and parent.
This year’s conference will feature two panels: “Banking & Regulation” and “Wealth Management.” The “Banking & Regulation” panel will focus on the rapidly changing landscape of financial institutions in times of increased regulation and reduced appetites for risk. The “Wealth Management” panel will explore strategies for future investing success as the world emerges from recession.
