MARSHALL GOLDSMITH is widely recognized as one of the world's leading authorities in helping successful leaders achieve positive, lasting change in behavior: for themselves, their people, and their teams.

In 2009, The London Times and Forbes recognized him as one of the fifteen most influential business thinkers in the world. The American Management Association named Goldsmith as one of the fifty great thinkers and leaders who have influenced the field of management over the past eighty years. He has worked as an executive advisor and coach to over 100 major CEOs and their management teams. Marshall teaches executive education at Dartmouth's Tuck School and other leading business schools. His books have sold over one million copies and have been translated into thirty languages. He has regular blogs on Harvard Business Review, Business Week, and The Huffington Post.

He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources, and his work has been recognized by almost every professional organization in his field. He served on the Board of the Peter Drucker Foundation for ten years and has been a volunteer teacher for US Army Generals, Navy Admirals, Girl Scout executives, International and American Red Cross leaders – where he was a National Volunteer of the Year.

His best-selling books include: What Got You Here Won’t Get You There, Succession: Are You Ready? The Leader of the Future, The Organization of the Future and Coaching for Leadership.

RICK WARTZMAN is Executive Director of The Drucker Institute at Claremont Graduate University.

In addition to his duties at the Drucker Institute, Rick writes “The Drucker Difference” column for Bloomberg Businessweek online. Before joining the Institute, Rick worked for two decades in newspapers.
