Claremont Graduate University is proud to be hosting the Association of Arts Administration Educators Conference May 31 - June 2, 2012.  This is a great opportunity to meet colleagues who direct and teach in arts management programs from around the country. Plenary sessions will feature Janet Brown, the rising star who runs Grantmakers in the Arts; Doug McLennan, editor of ArtsJournal.com; and MacArthur "Genius Grant" recipient Luis Alfaro-performance artist, writer, theatre director, and social activist. There will also be a half-day pre-conference session in leadership development offered by faculty at the Drucker School of Management and the Kravis Leadership Institute at Claremont McKenna College.
