People work in environments of relentless distraction. Ever-present technology bombards us with information, leaving us overwhelmed and fragmented.
So how can the modern knowledge worker remain productive and healthy?
The Drucker School's Office of Alumni Relations invites you to join Professor Jeremy Hunter in Brea, California, on Thursday, April 10 for lunch and a discussion on Taking Effective Action in an Age of Distraction
Hunter is one of the world's leading experts in mindfulness, a focused and deliberate moment-to-moment awareness. Mindfulness is a powerful tool for short-circuiting destructive cycles of stress and irrational emotional actions that debilitate performance. With practice, it enhances clarity, focus and judgment, enables more skillful decision-making, improves communication and interpersonal relationships, and fosters greater quality of life.
The event, hosted by alumna Paola Nava (MBA '11), is from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Embassy Suites, 900 E. Birch Street in Brea.
Tickets are $25 through March 31 and $35 after April 1. Advanced registration is required.
Additional details and registration information are available at the Drucker Alumni website
