Every year, this fall event – the largest Drucker alumni gathering of the year – marks a day of reunion, networking, and continued education in honor and remembrance of the school’s namesake, Peter F. Drucker himself. In fact, once called Alumni Day, the event’s name was changed after Drucker’s passing only days before the 2005 event.
This year’s Drucker Day is being held on Saturday, November 8, and is expected to draw some 400 attendees.
There will also be an announcement about The Drucker Centennial - the celebration of Peter Drucker's 100th birthday. Attendees will even be encouraged to to share thoughts and memories of Peter Drucker on a video to be played at the Centennial celebration.
Mid-afternoon, attendees will also have an opportunity to attend two of the mini-classes led by Drucker professors Jay Prag (The Future of Finance), Katharina Pick (Leadership and Gender), or Joseph Maciariello (Management- Revised Edition), or by Drucker Institute Director Rick Wartzman (Closing the Responsibility Gap), CGU’s neuroeconomics professor Paul Zak (The Moral Molecule: Lessons for Leaders), the CGU Office of Career Management (Recharging Your Career), or special guest Rev. Fr. Benigno P. Beltran (Veritas: Making an Impact in the Philippines). The sessions will be followed by a networking social.
Drucker Day will begin with registration and coffee from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Garrison Theater on Dartmouth and 10th. Pre-registration is highly recommended and con be completed online at druckeralumni.org.
