Alumni Mentor Program
The Drucker School Mentor Program is designed for students interested in learning more about a career field and establishing a professional contact with a Drucker Alumna/Alumnus Volunteer Career Mentor. The participating mentors represent various professions and majors. Each student is matched with an alumna/alumnus mentor based upon the student's career interest with the mentor's professional expertise.

 

A Drucker Alumna/Alumnus Career Mentor can:


• Give students an overview of his or her industry
• Talk about the trends that are occurring in his or her field
• Tell students about various career options within that industry
• Help students clarify their short and long term career goals
• Describe a typical day at his or her place of employment
• Discuss his or her career path
• Describe the rewards and challenges of his or her job

(NOTE: Drucker Alumni Career Mentors should not be expected to find summer jobs, internships, or full-time positins for students. This program is not considered a job placement service.)
