How do I ...?

Login into Sakai? http://sakai.claremont.edu username and password is the same as email account, make sure you click in drop down menu Claremont Graduate University.

Check my campus Email? – check your CGU student email account online at http://outlook.cgu.edu

Use Web File Services (WFS)? – store and access any file from the web at http://wfs.cgu.edu

Obtain discounted software for CGU staff?  available through JourneyEd.com

Need to send a large attachment via email (5 MB to 1GB)?  Use transferbigfiles.com to ensure your message won’t clog the recipient’s email box or be denied altogether.

Need to check your PC for viruses? 
You can run a scan online at mcafee.com  or you can download a free anti-virus program for non-commercial use at www.avast.com

Need to fix your PC or Mac?  OIT is unable to work on your personal equipment or software. Please check with the Huntley bookstore.

Tired of spyware?  Try the free Microsoft Windows Defender

Need an easy way to secure files through encryption?  Try Cryptainer LE from Cypherix to create passphrase protected directories on your personal computer.
