Bio: Barbara Glaeser an Associate Professor in the Department of Special Education at California State University, Fullerton. Dr. Glaeser was a classroom teacher in both general and special education for 14 years before earning her doctorate in 1998 from the University of Kansas. She provides staff development on special education and inclusive methods throughout Southern California, and has presented at conferences throughout the nation. Her teaching and research focus on school-wide improvement, collaboration and co-teaching, effective instruction for students with disabilities and instructional technology. She recently received over $1,000,000 in federal funding to train special education paraprofessionals to teach Special Education, Math and Science in low-performing schools.
