ABOUT THE CANDIDATE SEARCH

SPE is seeking to fill three new faculty positions this fall in: International Political Economy (IPE), Comparative Politics, and Public Policy.  There are currently eleven candidates being considered for these three positions.

Part of the selection process involves that these candidates visit the CGU campus on two consecutive days.  While here, they will do two things that directly involve students:  1) On the first day they will make a presentation of their work to the faculty, staff, and students, and 2) on the second day, they will have an informal lunch meeting with current students that the candidate and students may interact and ask questions of each other.  Lunch will be provided both days.

The students are therefore integral to the selection process and as such, participation is greatly encouraged of all students

Below is the information you the student will need in order to choose when to go and for whom.  We understand that you may not make it to every session.  Nevertheless, please attempt to make it to as many as possible.  These are your future faculty members and this is your chance to influence directly, the course of your department.
