"Contemporary Philosophy under the Virtual Campus: proposals and materials"

11:30 am

RSVP required by April 1.

During 2011-2012 Professor Muñoz-Alonso led a research project on “Elaboration of interactive materials in Virtual Fields for studying contemporary philosophy”. The goal was to understand how a virtual environment can provide an innovative way for teaching humanities.

A noted challenge is the overwhelming quantity of materials to be found online, without a proper evaluation, or even authorship. The project goal is to provide the best sources, with critical appraisal.

This is a work in progress, currently under evaluation by an expert team in Complutense University, to be published in the Open Virtual Campus, which is open access. In the future the project team hopes to use the approach to develop virtual subjects in the humanities.
