Part 2: Purpose and Methodology How are studies like this written about in academic circles? How/why is this kind of research particularly good at identifying important variables and issues? What do I expect to learn from this study? How do I expect this study to impact my teaching or perspective? Methodology: What does this study involve? What is the focus for each of the study’s seven different parts? For each part, describe what the researcher will do. What will I “look at” or study? What is my data? Who are my subjects? How do I gather my data/information? How do I make sense of this data?
