As Department Secretary, I am the hub for faculty and students. I register students, process our course schedules, maintain syllabi, coordinate and schedule qualifying exams, process all paperwork and provide support to the Economics faculty.
As program coordinator for the Claremont Institute for Economic Policy Studies and the Freeman Program in Asian Political Economy, I put together and implement seminars, workshops, conferences and programs to provide a rich environment for students. We draw participants from such places as the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, Korea Institute for International Economic Policy and the Federal Reserve Bank, as well as top universities around the world.
