
Professors of Practice
The Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University is dedicated to advancing the theory and practice of management. It offers MBA, Executive MBA and Financial Engineering programs. To accommodate future growth, the Drucker School plans to hire Professors of Practice in the following areas:
• Accounting and Control
• Finance
• Leadership and Organizational Behavior
• Marketing
• Operations Management
• Quantitative Methods
• Strategy
Regardless of their functional discipline, candidates with a strong track record in non-profit management, corporate social responsibility, and environmental management, are encouraged to apply.
Professors of Practice are non-tenured and non-tenure track faculty members who have (a) demonstrated excellence in executive teaching; (b) possess significant stature in the field of management; and (c) are widely recognized for their ability to connect academia to the world of practice. A Ph.D is preferred but not required. The responsibilities of this position are teaching courses and seminars at the graduate/executive level and other service at the Drucker School. An initial appointment may be made for a term of not more than three years.
