Peter F. Drucker Chair in Management and the Liberal Arts

Nominations and applications are invited for the Peter F. Drucker Chair in Management and the Liberal Arts at the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University (CGU). We seek a distinguished scholar and teacher with Peter Drucker’s traits:  original, philosophical, provocative, profound, courageous, and prolific. Someone who ponders the increasing intersection of business, government, and civil society. Someone who focuses on the requirements for economic progress and social justice in a globalized world. We seek one of the best minds in the world to help shape the future of the Drucker School.

Now 35 years old, the School is expanding its size and impact. The new chair will play a leadership role in the future of management education. The Drucker School is part of CGU, a small, private, graduate-only institution, 35 miles east of Los Angeles. CGU is part of The Claremont Colleges which include five of America’s top colleges: Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, Pitzer, Pomona, Scripps; and the Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences. These Colleges include faculty of national stature in finance, economics, and leadership studies.
