Visiting Faculty Position in Finance
Nominations and applications are invited for a one-year visiting position in Finance at the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University. Rank is open. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in financial management. We are particularly interested in candidates who, in addition to teaching corporate finance, can teach courses related to the application of real options and financial derivatives in a managerial context. The position includes responsibility for teaching in the MBA and Executive Management levels. MBA courses combine students from the MBA program and students in the school's MS in Financial Engineering program.
Candidates must have completed a doctoral degree and must have at least four years of post-doctoral teaching experience at the graduate/executive level. In addition, candidates must have a strong record of scholarship; an interest in diverse approaches, students and populations; and a demonstrated ability to make their intellectual contributions accessible to experienced managers through teaching and published work. Candidates also should have an interest in supervising the research of diverse students with considerable management experience. Executive level management or consulting experience is desirable.
