MGT 703 - Entrepreneurship

The major emphasis of the course is an examination of the new venture process, from idea generation to startup to harvest. This course is designed to equip students with a thorough knowledge of the important issues surrounding the establishment management and of new business ventures. Students will learn how to design and critically evaluate proposals. They will also learn to recognize and devise strategies to mitigate the risk associated with new ventures, and understand the legal issues surrounding intellectual property protection. An interactive lecture format is supplemented with class discussion, case analyses, papers and presentations.
